Skint Bizkit Presents: Tramlines Fringe
Skint Bizkit presents a day of sonic revelry for their Tramlines Fringe matinee show at Yellow Arch Studios. The event, taking place on Sunday, 23rd July, will run from 3:30-9:30 and is set to showcase some of Sheffield’s best up-and-coming acts, as well as featured artists from Manchester, Hull and Nottingham.
Let’s get freaky.
Kickstarting the day are local art-rock ensemble Richard Carlson Band, poised to project their outlandish psychedelia, before a performance from Hull quartet Meek, an indie-rock group armed with vibrant visuals and infectious melodies.
Haze and hoorah.
Yorkshire rapper SimSimSosa marks his return to Yellow Arch with a collage of hazy hip-hop bangers, followed by a concoction of riot and ramshackle from the pulsating Manchester punks, The Strangerz.
A drastic turn of events.
Nottingham hardcore-punk rebels Skitz Wizards join the bill with an explosive exhibition of chaos and disarray, uprooting the framework for the Sheffield noise-punk pariahs, Drastic//Automatic, a tumultuous trio who are renowned for their breathtaking live sets.
Who is Django?
Capping off the day are headliners Django Jones and the Mystery Men, the post-punk pioneers who have stormed the Sheffield music scene with their devilishly dangerous anthems. Expect theatrics and atomic antics from these electric romantics.
